LUDLOW, S.D. – Criminal charges have been filed against a Texas man in connection with a two-vehicle crash that left two people dead on U.S. Highway 85 about two miles south of Ludlow, S.D on Sunday.
Winchester Robert Wearden, 34, of Austin, Texas, is charged with reckless driving and passing in a no-passing zone.
Samantha Lynn Vogel, 21, of Lincoln, N.D., and Judith Ann Hampton, 61, of Newcastle, Wyo., died in the crash.
