Aberdeen's Salvation Army Within $50,000 Goal

Aberdeen, SD - The Salvation Army in Aberdeen is within $50,000 of its goal of $180,000 for the organizations annual appeal at Christmas.

“This is great progress,” said Major David Womack, local Salvation Army leader.  “The community support has been incredible this year.  It is my hope that everyone will come together this week to make achieving this goal a success.”

Funds raised by The Salvation Army during the Christmas season are used to help nearly 1,000 people at Christmas and many more throughout the coming year.

Volunteers for bell ringing are still needed through Christmas Eve.  Donations received through January 15 will be applied to the annual goa.
