Aberdeen, SD - Nominations are being sought for the “Entrepreneur of the Year Award” presented by Absolutely!Aberdeen at the Community Champions Luncheon on February 14.

This award was created 5 years ago by Absolutely!Aberdeen, acting on advice by Catalytix in a study of Aberdeen. That recommendation simply stated was to “Build on Your Culture of Entrepreneurship”, reflecting the amazing economic history of Aberdeen built by an array of very industrious, and risk-taking entrepreneurs throughout the decades.

The first four entrepreneurs whose achievements have been recognized by this award are Roger Feickert, MidStates Printing; Jim Thares, Primrose Retirement Communities; Jeff Lamont, Lamont Companies, and Nathan Reede, Upper Plains Contracting (UPCI).
