Aberdeen, SD - The Young Professionals New Year Kickoff will be held Thursday, Jan 19 at the Dakota Event Center in Aberdeen. A seminar will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. and a social will follow the seminar from 4 to 5 p.m. According to a press release from the Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce, the cost to attend is $10 for members and $12 for non-members. The speakers will be Lesa Jarding and Nate Welch from the Sioux Falls Young Professionals Group.
Lesa was on the steering committee for starting the Sioux Falls Young Professionals Group and Nate Welch is currently the chair of the Sioux Falls Young Professional Network Steering Committee.
They will share their experiences as part of the YP group and discuss their annual YP Summit in Sioux Falls which included YP’s from South Dakota and surrounding states. Lesa and Nate will also advise young professionals how to get involved and make the most of their Young Professional meetings, and volunteering. Great way to kick off the New Year!
