Pierre, S.D. - According to a press release, a state prison inmate has died. Inmate Miller Crazy Mule, age 26, died at the South Dakota State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls Tuesday morning.
Crazy Mule was serving a sentence of 77 years for 1st Degree Rape, Aggravated Assault and 1st Degree Burglary out of Aurora County.
The Division of Criminal Investigation is investigating, as is standard procedure in the death of an inmate. The death was not a suicide and there is no evidence of foul play. An autopsy is being conducted.
