Aberdeen, SD - The Aberdeen Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department is pleased to announce that the City has contracted with Dennis Gavin to serve as Head Golf Professional/ Clubhouse Manager for the Lee Park Golf Course.  Mr. Gavin is a member of the Professional Golf Association (PGA) and has extensive experience as a golf instructor and general manager of golf operations in Minnesota, Oregon and Arizona.  Most recently Mr. Gavin served as general manager of the Westbrook Village Golf Club in Peoria, Arizona.  Mr. Gavin is a PGA Class A professional and is certified in golf operations and general management of golf courses.  Mr. Gavin has served as a member of the PGA of Americas apprentice training faculty since 1994.
